Disenelo x Baron Davis — NBA All Stars

In early 2016, I was approached by Baron Davis, about my work which he is a fan of and wanted a piece he could hang in his studio.

Baron Walter Louis Davis is an American former professional basketball player who is a studio analyst for The NBA on TNT. He is a two-time NBA All-Star. He was drafted with the third overall pick in the 1999 NBA draft by the Charlotte Hornets. He found me via Dope Black Art, where one of my pieces was posted earlier that year.

I worked on a basketball mixed media digitally painted / basketball and court floor, with eLo for the love of the game.

In 2018, another message from Baron regarding doing some artwork in collaboration with NBA All Stars, unfortunately the package didn’t make it in time to be used but these are the images mock up and digital.

The jersey project aim was to be signed by all the players, framed and used for fund raising to give to a child in need or a children’s ward.
