StillBoardShitless — Collective Exhibition at The Circle London
Early in the 2019 working closely with a friend; Mikee mentioned he was planning on doing an exhibition and we were talking about artwork, projects and things he mentioned for me to do a board as an artist, bearing in mind I’d never painted a skateboard or a wall in fact. I do love a challenge, only learnt about the wall a little closer to the time this is normally how exhibitions work. But I was excited I didn’t even think about the pressures of it all.
I started working on the board after collecting it — day in day out to get it ready in time, firstly sanding down the board.
Two days before the exhibition, we had to prepare the area and walls for transformation!
This was how it looked before we started.
Behind the scenes, preparing the wall tapping outlines for painting, wrapping items and assisting in putting stuff away to not get paint on it.

When I think about this exhibition, the more I realise I was out of my comfort zone and held up next to some exception artists.
After everyone’s hard work the final push we all had finished painting away, we removed the tape and this was the view!

The exhibition was well received, that it got extended by another month.
With so much going on, the conversations, the socialising the mixing it up, I only managed to get a few pictures — literally!
Can’t wait to do see what’s next!
